Straightened my leg.

The leg in question being the support leg of the baseboard whose inwards tilt I described yesterday.

And the solution of inserting some cork matting between the top of the leg and the underside of the board did indeed work.

Can't get it out of my head:

I haven't been able to get two tunes out of my head today - although you could argue that if one was in my head at one time then the other must have been out of my head.

They are both from 1998.

Brandy and Monica: The Boy is Mine

Both records had great accompanying videos - very different from each other.

Brandy and Monica's was a brilliant evocation of the shallowness of black urban romance.

Stardust (a French combo) made a video that evoked the wonder of childhood - one of my favourite videos of all time - almost a short film.
