Painting the tracks again.

Back to agonising over colour schemes for the tracks.

On a whim, laid the wooden platforms in position and then painted the space between the tracks a kind of streaky pinky colour.

Looks OK but far too cheerful. I want a murky urban feel.

Teenage Fanclub:

After a fantastic time yesterday entertaining my niece's twins down the local park have felt utterly de-motivated today.

However, have just played the track "I don't care" by Teenage Fanclub on repeat and repeat and repeat turning the volume up each time. Completely invigorating. Feel immensely more up.

Last night's dinner:

Carrots,  mashed potato and roast chicken (leg).

Gotan Project:

Bought this CD of electronic Tango music in 2001. Can't believe it was 11 years ago. Where has the time gone?

At the time I remember it seemed quite innovative. But on playing it today as part of my Tango self-infiltration programme, I found it a tad pedestrian.

However, I shouldn't mock; it's difficult to tell the difference between me doing the Tango and a pedestrian.
