Some obelisk pondering

Tried the obelisk in a few positions.

The problem with my phone camera is that its depth of field is such that anything in the foreground is inflated in appearance. So pictures 2 and 3 look promising but when one looks at the view in picture 1, the obelisk looks over-scaled and gross. Yet the position of the obelisk is the same in all 3 pictures.

Drumming practice update:

Hugely enjoyable Samba drumming session last night - must have been 25 of us practising a new piece for 2 hours. Ear plugs were a must.
