Flip a Rhythm

No oomph for railway today:

I'm mentally alert but physically tired. Believe it or not, one does require some physical energy for this hobby.

So instead here are some ......................................... HO scale signal boxes. I've just realised that I don't have one for the layout.

And here is a real beauty that some chap has customised:

Currently listening to:

When having a curry in Lenzie (north of Glasgow) last night, heard some background electronic music that had a beat that I really liked; sounded like Dimitri from Paris. Spent much of the afternoon trying to track it down in my own collection on iTunes so that my drum tutor can teach me it.

Dimitri from Paris

RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
Currently reading:

Downloaded this third volume of his diaries to my Kindle. The first two volumes were most enjoyable.

Also spent an hour watching a lecture on Predicate Logic on youTube - pretty good.

Drumming practice update:

Began learning musical notation with my drum tutor - most enjoyable and stimulating. Because I am an ignoramus, we are starting at the very, very, very beginning.

Just about able to summon up enough energy to attend my Samba drumming class tonight. I don't think I'll be sharing with them my Flip a Rhythm experience.

MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
Miscellany 1:

My parents' ashes are scattered in this garden of remembrance at Lenzie.

Miscellany 2:

Laurie, my drumming tutor, is off to France tomorrow with his group Golden Teacher to play 4 cities: Lyon, Nimes, Tours and La Rochelle.
